Does anyone know if you can get a kick-back on taxes for energy star purchases?
In 2006 we replaced our furnace and air conditioner with an energy star rated system as well as our windows. I heard there is up to $500 in tax credits for Energy Saving measures in Wisconsin. Is this true? How do I get this info? I have the proof of purchases, but what else might I need?
Yes. I happen to have this handy because I am getting quotes on H/AC at the moment and one of the salesmen mentioned the TAX break. Only available years 2006 and 2007 only.
