does anyone know how to cool a loft?
ok so my husband and I just rented a new condo and we live in the south so it is very warm here all the time and our condo has a wonderful huge loft but we have yet to do anything with it or use it becasue we cannot go up there without dying of heat stroke the loft has 2 huge windows with an arched window above so far we have put Energy Saving black out curtians up and put a tinting film over the arched window that claims to block out 90% of heat and uv rays and its still very hot and we have no idea what to do next to try and cool it our air in the house is set to 74 and the rest of the house cools to that but as soon as u start up the steps to the loft u can feel the heat does anyone have any ideas to cool it down there are centeral air vents up there but they do little to nothing unless we can get the hot air out ?
Are there any room (place) for plants? It helps sometimes.
