will using a powerstrip in my room to save energy eventually blow out my electronics ?
i have all my electronics in my room hooked to a power strip(tv, ps3, wii, cable box, phone and laptop charger), and fan). and i figured turning off everything at once using th epower strip would save energy and money, but will constantly shutting down these things using the power strip cause my electronics to blow out? and can someone recommend the best power strip for conserving energy and ensuring safety of electronics ? thanks in advance 
The amount of energy saved by using a power strip is offset by the light on the power strip on/off switch and the added resistance of the extra connection. If you really want to save energy, do not run your heater in the winter nor your air conditioner in the summer. Now that’s saving energy!
